Summer Holidays ft. Pakistani Education

  The education system of Pakistan is considered notorious for some obvious reasons. This includes pushing students under academic stress due to lack of planned course holidays and make students to study almost complete 12 months of a calendar year. However, primary and secondary school students are bestowed with planned holidays. Their educational year generally comprises of two major chunks of holidays; Summer holidays usually extending from beginning of June to mid of August  Winter Holidays majorly comprising last fortnight of December        Here we will be discussing summer part of Holidays. It is found out that students are generally excited about these holidays, maybe due to their large number. There are different hierarchy of schools based on their monthly fee receipts. Different hierarchy of schools have different approaches towards these holidays. Public and lower hierarchy schools generally load students with tons of meaningless homework. This g...

Origin and importance of democratic apparatus;

  Before highlighting the significance of electing public representatives it is necessary to look upon the origin of this custom. In the beginning of human society there was no government, it was just a society. As society, as well as avarice, grew people began to usurp. Some of them stood more mighty in comparison to others. The innocent and defenceless sect of society appointed the mighty ones among these usurpers to protect them from others by contributing constantly with materials to them. In this way some mighty usurpers gained more power and were unintentionally selected by people to rule over them and protect their interests in return.            As time passed their arouse two malfunctions in this system. First was coalition between mighty usurpers and other was the practice of the same authority they were bestowed, by their hereditary successors who were incapable of holding this authority. So, society organically evolved and found the heredit...

Recent twitter hype ft. Arooj BDS

   The recent twitter hype should’ve been expected over change of twitter’s logo or name to “X” but in Pakistan dynamics, as always, are far different from expectations. It’s quite difficult to say, whether these dynamics are worst or better than expected ones.           The recent twitter hype in Pakistan was initiated by a user who posted a Screenshot of his WhatsApp, showing his mother has changed her display picture to the user’s photo in medical outfit, claiming it to be an achievement for him. This picture was supposed to depict the love of a mother towards her son, but outcomes differ greatly. This screen shot posted by user also revealed some of his other chats, two of them gained more attention, ‘Arooj BDS and ‘sherry<3’. It was revealed through his post on twitter that he has ignored her friend, he claimed, Arooj BDS for couple of days but replied to sherry<3 instantly. Here is the original twitter post;     As can be see...

How to become a poet/writer; a complete guide including training and opportunities.

  Becoming a poet ain’t a big deal if you’re studying in co-education. If you’re not, then you need to be an active part of your college societies, Ofc I don’t want school going kids to spoil their mental stability! The benefit of joining co-curricular societies especially debates and dramatics is that your college sends you out on external competitions where you, for the first time get to interact with opposite gender after grade Eight, yes thats how it works in Pakistan! Now both co-education and separate college dudes can have a crush this way!                After locking the target, you need to calm down!! I know there exists harmonal rush at this age but you really need to calm down, if you actually want to become a poet or writer, in the other case! Now you’re calm, all you need is to move closer both physically and mentally to your crush. But keep in mind, you need to to keep a safe physical distance cz if you breach this limit I can’...

PPP and Alleged non-democratic practices in Karachi Mayor polls!

  For quite a time, PPP has been considered as only democratic party. People believed PPP can find loop holes (coalition etc,) in structure of Democracy to achieve their objective but they won’t destroy the democratic fabric. But now PPP has fallen to ever low in the Mayor polls for Karachi. Maybe still up than PTI or PMLN but too low for the own ideology of     Pakistan Peoples Party. A party which always vowed for civil supremacy and social justice. Allegedly many chairmans of PTI and JI were forcibly abducted before polls to reduce the opposition in numbers for PPP’s candidate Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddique. This was new low for PPP being advocate of democracy. No doubt Mr. Murtaza Wahab Siddique was most compatible candidate for this post but the way he took the charge is objectionable! PPP has largely remained firm on the narrative of “Democracy is the best revenge” said by Bibi sahiba herself. We hope Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddique as responsible statesman would...

Crowding out in pakistan amid government borrowings

 At open doors dogs come in;   Of course it was written well before the stagflation of Pakistan’s economy but it seems it was written for Pakistan Governments financial administration. In economics, there is a term ‘crowding out’ which means when government increase its spending by borrowing, it results in increased interest rates for borrowing. Thus, private investors being cost-efficient in nature, withdraw their capital investments plans due to lack of economical capital financing. Government in Pakistan, borrows keenly pushing economic growth to depression.              Lets see how this occurs. When government passes a tender for borrowing it increases the demand for cash to be borrowed. Since, the supply of cash is limited in an economy, to avoid devaluation of money, increased demand for money encourages the money supplier agents such as banks to give loans at much higher interest rates. To meet the inelastic supply of welfare services...

Thanksgiving to GOD!

              We all need to shift our aptitude towards thankfulness to whatever nature, consequences, God etc! Now what is thanks to these abstract entities? Offering them a bouquet of flowers, gifting them a decent wrist watch, presenting them a finely written book? The answer would probably be No!            Then what’s this thanks? To me this thanks is, be a source of more and more thanks being uttered from people around you, because of your kindness. Spread love, be the creator of more and more consequences which make others say thanks, so as to recompensate the nature for helping you and make society a place worth living!
