PPP and Alleged non-democratic practices in Karachi Mayor polls!

For quite a time, PPP has been considered as only democratic party. People believed PPP can find loop holes (coalition etc,) in structure of Democracy to achieve their objective but they won’t destroy the democratic fabric. But now PPP has fallen to ever low in the Mayor polls for Karachi. Maybe still up than PTI or PMLN but too low for the own ideology of     Pakistan Peoples Party. A party which always vowed for civil supremacy and social justice. Allegedly many chairmans of PTI and JI were forcibly abducted before polls to reduce the opposition in numbers for PPP’s candidate Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddique. This was new low for PPP being advocate of democracy. No doubt Mr. Murtaza Wahab Siddique was most compatible candidate for this post but the way he took the charge is objectionable! PPP has largely remained firm on the narrative of “Democracy is the best revenge” said by Bibi sahiba herself. We hope Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddique as responsible statesman would...

Crowding out in pakistan amid government borrowings

At open doors dogs come in;   Of course it was written well before the stagflation of Pakistan’s economy but it seems it was written for Pakistan Governments financial administration. In economics, there is a term ‘crowding out’ which means when government increase its spending by borrowing, it results in increased interest rates for borrowing. Thus, private investors being cost-efficient in nature, withdraw their capital investments plans due to lack of economical capital financing. Government in Pakistan, borrows keenly pushing economic growth to depression.              Lets see how this occurs. When government passes a tender for borrowing it increases the demand for cash to be borrowed. Since, the supply of cash is limited in an economy, to avoid devaluation of money, increased demand for money encourages the money supplier agents such as banks to give loans at much higher interest rates. To meet the inelastic supply of welfare services...

Thanksgiving to GOD!

We all need to shift our aptitude towards thankfulness to whatever nature, consequences, God etc! Now what is thanks to these abstract entities? Offering them a bouquet of flowers, gifting them a decent wrist watch, presenting them a finely written book? The answer would probably be No!            Then what’s this thanks? To me this thanks is, be a source of more and more thanks being uttered from people around you, because of your kindness. Spread love, be the creator of more and more consequences which make others say thanks, so as to recompensate the nature for helping you and make society a place worth living!

Love and consent!

In majority, nobody in the World loves anyone, I’m leaving some space for exceptions which are quite rare to occur! People always associate some selfish motives, not necessarily extrinsic, with their love. They sometimes, try to satisfy their intrinsic ego, unknowingly. Here is where people need proper counselling. Consent isn’t a mere fancy word used by pseudo liberals in abundance but it has meaningful real life impact. You love someone it’s your consent if you want to be in relationship you need mutual consent. Someone may like you, like sharing time with you but not okay getting into relationship with you, and even love you but not intended to spend their whole life with you. That’s their consent, if you love them you’re supposed not to respect them as person but also their opinions, their will and their consent. If you don’t do so, you’re just satisfying yourself self either extrinsically or intrinsically and you’re selfish, bloody cheater not respecting the person you love ...
